Here's a slightly more different kind of thing I discovered whilst going through storage cases of old. Hidden among old art works of mine, from more than two decades ago, was this. It most likely was an art class assignment of some kind but I can't remember for what. The point still stands; I've always found it perfectly excusable to turn any assignment I get into something about penguins with guns.

This is done in soft pastel on a black crafts paper. This used to be one of my go-tos before digital art – it was either charcoal and graphite or soft pastel on black paper. A lot of the stuff I used to draw – and still do, let's be honest – is dark and plays with highlights. In such cases, it saved a lot of (class) time to only paint in the said lights and highlights instead.

As a side note, I'm a bit bummed I didn't find this or remember its existence earlier, as it would've fitted great into Glowenko art galleries in TAGAP 4. Who knows, perhaps I'll find a use for it in the future.
