Speaking of oldie-and-goodie, here's another older penguin. It is a slightly larger version of a plushie I featured back in 2009 – a National Geographic branded King Penguin.

For this one I attempted a 'manual image degradation'; trying to turn the image into an older version of itself without relying on any automated filters. It turned out fine, much of the heavy lifting in the effect is done by added noise that is then de-noised away.
