Okay, here's a personal one and a true blast from the past.

This month hosting both the Mother's Day and what would've been my late mother's birthday, May has been quite a sombre month for years now. So this year I'll cap it off with something appropriate and of 'good vibes'.

This is a Birthday Card made and drawn by Mother, from all the way back from when I was nine years old. I tend to joke that 'it was before the dinosaurs walked the Earth', being in 1992 and a year before Jurassic Park.

She often did DIY style cards, made from clippings and the like, but rarely drew anything. This is the only drawing of hers I recall having and it was a penguin for me. She was darn adept at doing other things, mind, including knitted plush toys – some of which I've featured in the past.

The text says "The Penguin Club Membership Card", followed by a membership number.
