I've been sharing this pudgy little birb for a special occasion – and a penguin celebration day certainly counts.
Meet the protagonist of The Greatest Penguin Heist of All Time. If you've missed it, The Greatest Penguin Heist of All Time by That Other Fish is very likely the biggest penguin themed game out there. I plan to cover it in detail in the (hopefully not too distant) future. But, to get you up to speed for today, it is a mini-sandbox heist game with crazy amount of interactivity. As a result you can do whatever you want – the titular heists or just mess around with the cartoon-like physics, all for one to eight players.
It also has a dedicated Noot-Noot button, so it's automatically the best game ever.
This little guy featured here today is the plush toy version of the default player penguin character. It was released as a limited crowdfunded plushie via Makeship – a company specialised in creating precisely those. I love this little guy!
On a personal side note, this will likely be the last proper wallpaper penguin for some time – another great reason I've been saving featuring it for this long. As I've now upgraded my developer PC, I've now lost my art tools for the foreseeable future – until I find something to replace Photoshop. I have several penguins in the pipeline still ready to go, so it will be a while before I run out of prepared entries.
