Another bird in this series of pudgy Tiimari plaster penguins – and it's a big one! Seriously, this is easily ten times the size of the previous duo. The hat is not part of the statue, but a cake décor from my graduation in the early 2000s. That said, it fits perfectly, doesn't it?
This wasn't a local purchase, by the way, but was discovered on a holiday trip. City of Lahti was stop on the said trip – for changing form of transport – so we stretched our legs, wandering into the local Tiimari. There this fellow was – so I bought it.
Remember, these penguins are made of hollow plaster and are quite fragile. Now imagine one in a true jumbo size. To get a picture how big this is, here's a shot of it waiting on chair for me to finish preparing the photo shoot in the next room.

Now imagine trying to get this thing transported from almost half-way across the country, with a mixture of on-foot travel and public transports! But yay, it survived!
