More Penguins Project's Vocaloid pop! Just in case you missed it and feel baffled, check out last week's penguin entry for better explanation on what on Earth 'Vocaloid' is. Originally released in 2012, "Galapagos" is the second album from Penguins Project again features the virtual super-star Hatsune Miku on vocals.

"Galapagos" is a lot more complex and organic an album than the predecessor, sounding less like a chirpy retro-electro and more like a modern, fluid pop. While the more organic nature of the music does accentuate the synthetic nature of Hatsune Miku, one could argue that it brings some unique charm to the proceedings. And the official music video is nothing short of brilliant!

So, yes; "Galapagos" every bit as great as "Penguin's Dream", yet unique enough to be very different. Again, if you're interested, the albums are available in digital form at CD Baby.
