To my surprise, I hadn't featured any Pingo merchandise yet, despite of having several of them in my collection. Pingo is the mascot for Danish Pingvin Lakrids (which part of the Toms Confectionery Group) and though I haven't seen him around for a while, a decade back there was plenty of Pingo merchandise floating around, from plush toys to simple film cameras. The first Pingo on Weekly Penguin is this rollerskating plushie with sunglasses and backwards baseball-cap – it doesn't get much more '90s rad' than that.
