This card was given to me by my co-workers as a farewell greetings in March 2008 at the end of my short-term webmastering gig for the town hall. The card itself is from Inkognito collection, featuring "Zu Besuch", part of Quint Buchholz' illustrations for Friedrich Ani's book Gregor oder Wohin Die Träume Tragen, (Gregor, or Where Dreams May Take You).

The book tells the story of Gregor, a penguin who, instead of becoming a true singer, just keeps laying in his icy bead, dreaming of green fields, blue skies and rivers. In these dreams he, on a ferry trip, meets a party. They offer him a beer, which Gregor drinks. This makes Gregor wake up on his said icy bed. But wait; now he is all the sudden wearing lederhosen! And this leads us to a story about courage and fulfilling one's dreams.
