Weekly Penguin 358

Well, we got a slight delay on our epic penguin plushie photoshoot session, which was rescheduled for later this week. This means there's time to feature one more children's book!

This time it's The Emperor's Egg written by Martin Jenkins and illustrated by Jane Chapman. The book is essentially a kid-friendly re-telling of the Emperor penguins lives. The focus point is on one specific male, who spends two months in the most hostile place on Earth, protecting the egg on his feet. In a nutshell; Think The March of the Penguins, only in a beautifully illustrated children's book form. Adorable stuff, through-and-through.
